Lakshman Mandir is Hindu Temple located in Tapovan area of Rishikesh close to the Lakshman Jhula Taxi Stand. Temple is dedicated to the Lord Ram’s brother Lakshman. Lord Ram was incarnation of Vishnu to kill devil Ravan. According legends Lakshman meditated here. He also made the bridge which is now popular as Lakshman Jhula. Lakshman Jhula bridge is just 250 meter far from here. Temple is surrounded by market, taxi stand, restaurants and other shops.

How to reach: Lakshman temple is situated opposite the Lakshman Jhula Taxi Stand. Lakshman Jhula Taxi Stand is in Tapovan area of Rishikesh. Vehicles up to tempo traveler (12 seated) can easily come here. Bus will reach up to Rishikesh Badrinath Highway 600 meters away.
